Hello, my name is Miss Norma and I am a Teacher in the Caterpillar Room.  I am a mom of three beautiful girls and live in Marin County.  I am excited to share my day with all our young students at Miss Nicky’s Preschool.  I have been a teacher since 2005.  I quickly found my passion working with young children at a young age.  I appreciate those moments in the classroom where I can see the smiles on their faces while we explore all areas of learning.  To witness their creative imaginations is an honor and I hope to inspire them each day through art, music, movement activities and much more.  I have a passion for singing and dancing and participating with my students to promote their love of learning and individual development.

I received my Associate Teacher Certificate by Santa Rosa Junior College in 2005 and then went on to renew my certification in 2015 after I completed my Montessori training at the San Leandro Center.  I am a lifelong learner and cannot wait to not only learn when enrolled in additional ECE classes but to also learn each day from your amazing preschoolers.

My passion and goal for my students is to foster a happy and healthy environment where they can accomplish all desired milestones, learn to foster healthy relationships with their peers and have fun!   I have many exciting things planned for your preschooler and I look forward to getting to know your family and creating a wonderful preschool experience for your little one.
